Variations: An Evening with Liatris String Trio takes place in the remarkable setting of the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Musicians Zsolt Eder, violin (concertmaster of the Topeka Symphony), Ashley Stanfield, viola, and Daniel Ketter, cello (KU faculty) present a concert centered around J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations. This intimate ensemble arrangement offers a fresh perspective on one of Bach’s most beloved works, paired with Dohnányi’s lyrical and energetic Serenade.
